Oyster incense holder

$52.00

The oyster, one of the ocean's most delicate treasures, has been worked in solid brass to become part of your incense ritual.

Staying true to its rustic form, the holder has been cast from a Sydney rock oyster shell, plucked fresh from the Australian coastline.

Its opening has been designed to perfectly angle your incense stick, ensuring the shell catches any falling residue. Sticks are easy to remove and the holder is simple to clean.

Whether used for incense, as a delicate jewellery dish or sculptural object, each Oyster will be an aphrodisiacal addition to your everyday.

8.5cm L x 6.5cm W x 3cm H approx. 3mm opening.

Weight: 120g

Being handmade, variations in finish only add beauty to each piece and show their dissimilarity to the mass produced. Markings have intentionally been left on the piece to mimic the natural formation on an oyster shell.

Crafted by artisans, our Oysters have been left untreated, allowing them to age and patina as nature intends.

To reduce tarnishing, use a soft cloth to wipe the surface free of moisture, oils and particles after use, then finish with a metal polishing cloth.

To restore a 'like-new' finish, polish with our Metal Polishing Cloth and buff clean.

Brass is a soft metal which can mark if treated poorly.
